Prime Backpackers is housed in a beautiful Victorian building in Zone 1 central London. We are the perfect base to explore London, relax in safe and comfortable accommodation, as well as to meet new people from around the world.
We offer a mix of private and dorm rooms in a variety of sizes to suit different budgets, as well as solo travellers or small groups of friends. Whatever room you choose to stay in, you’ll have access to free high speed internet throughout the hostel, access to all our fantastic shared spaces, and free social events!
Private rooms
Private 4 bed Dorm
Tooting Broadway has 2 bunk bed, so perfect for four friends travelling together. This room is on the top floor with a shared bathroom opposite.
Private double room
Ideal for couples, we have four newly renovated double private rooms available in prime London locations.
The rooms are located in Mayfair, Regents Park, Mile End, Westminster, and Waterloo. We have options available on both the top floor and ground floor, all featuring a shared bathroom located directly opposite the room for your convenience.
Private 4 bed Dorm
Kings Cross has 2 bunk bed, so perfect for four friends travelling together. This room is on the top floor with a shared bathroom opposite.
Dorm beds
Female only dorm
We offer two female-only dorms in Covent Garden and Victoria, with a choice of 8 or 12 bunks. These rooms offer a pleasant view overlooking our patio and kitchen roof. Each bunk includes a personal plug socket, and we recommend bringing your own padlock for the lockers.
6 bed mixed dorm
We have 6-bed dorms available in London Bridge and Camden Town. These rooms feature two three-tier bunk beds and are available to book either as individual dorm beds or as a private room. All dorms include personal plug sockets by each bunk for your convenience.
12 bed mixed dorm
For a budget-friendly option, we offer three mixed 12-bed dorms that are perfect for those looking to save money while staying in the heart of the city.
If you are traveling as a group and making several reservations under different names, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to arrange for your party to stay together in the same room. These dorms are our most affordable option, and each bunk comes equipped with its own personal plug socket for your convenience.

The heart of our home. A huge fully equipped kitchen. We have family dinners here every Thursday!

Free ultra high-speed Wifi throughout the hostel which includes all dorms and private rooms.

Freshen up your wardrobe - £6 for a wash and dry. Towel rental available for £3.

We have lots of books to choose from, pick one you like and leave the one you have finished (good condition books only of course).
Outside Patio.
Sit back in our patio and enjoy the beautiful outdoors! We have lots of BBQ’s here in the summer.
